Lite DePalma Greenberg & Rivas attorneys have substantial experience in the areas of real estate and land use law, and have assisted many individual and corporate clients in acquiring and selling commercial real estate. The firm’s attorneys are also experienced in prosecuting applications for land use approvals before local Planning Boards and Boards of Adjustment, as well as regional planning authorities such as the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. LDGR attorneys have also worked with clients designated as redevelopers of blighted properties by municipalities and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. Members of the firm have served as counsel to a zoning board of adjustment in Bergen County, and special land use counsel to municipalities in Somerset, Essex and Gloucester Counties.

In the corporate area, LDGR attorneys have assisted clients in forming corporations, limited liability companies and other entities for various purposes, including the acquisition of existing businesses. In this role, the firm has closed multi-million dollar purchases and sales of businesses and their assets. The firm has also represented corporate clients in drafting shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, restrictive covenants and other documents necessary to the proper functioning of closely-held New Jersey businesses.
